Sioux Empire Kennel Club members are expected to be active participants in club activities, serve on committees, assist with annual Fall Show, and any Obedience/ Agility/ Nosework Trials that the club hosts. To be considered for membership applicants are required to:

  • Attend a minimum of 2 meetings
  • Have written sponsorship of 2 SEKC members in good standing

Meetings

SEKC Board Meetings are held approximately 8 times a year. Location and time will be posted on the website at least 1 week prior to each meeting.


General membership meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7pm at the Old McDonald's Farm building at the W.H. Lyons Fairgrounds.


Guests are always welcome to attend general membership meetings and to volunteer at our events!


Membership fees are $30.00 per year for a single, $20.00 per year for a junior or $50.00 per year for a Household. Dues are paid upon joining and before Jan1. Building Code for members is and additional $10.00 per year.
